'Step in' - 'Step-out'

Our aim is to deliver. To do this we need to know exactly what it is we need to do. This is not always clear, it may be that you have a problem but are not sure how it can be resolved. We will agree the parameters of the project with you before any work commences.

MANAGING PERFORMANCE AND COACHING

We have worked with individuals who are not acheiving the objectives expected of them. We have completed work for organisations reliant on the performance of independant contractors where communication has virtually broken down, and the contractors are almost refusing to accept direction. In both these scenarios our intervention allowed some work to be progressed again almost immediately and within a short time allowed the normal lines of management to resume.

More straightforwardly we have delivered routine performance management, and development planning reviews for organisation teams.

NEW SERVICE DELIVERY

A primary care trust needed to forge links with independant contractors (Dentists and Podiatrists) in order to develop a position to lead their risk management processes (clinical governance). Our work identified leaders amongst the contractors involved. A series of meetings were held to identify current positions, potential barriers to working relationships being formed and maintained, and outline the objectives of the Primary Care Trust. This led to the identification of a way forward, and an event, hosted jointly by all parties involved, to introduce and launch the involvement of the Primary Care Trust in the contractors internal risk management.

DEVELOPMENT PLANNING

We have created  Development  Plans covering in excess of 350 sites reporting to board level within the organisations involved.

NEW BUSINESS / SERVICE DEVELOPMENT

We have worked on behalf of contractors representative bodies, and business organisations to gain funding for new business. This has involved clarifying with the contractors the new service they wish to fund. Subsequent to this we identify where funding can be obtained from, and which stakeholders can influence the funding decisions. Collection of detail of the service intended, and testing it's quality is then completed before meetings with fundholders. Initial interest is then supported by pilot or sample schemes, and we have seen these through to fully funded ongoing services.
